How does E-foiling work?

Foil boarding is a relatively new watersport that involves riding a board equipped with a hydrofoil, which is a wing-like structure that extends below the board into the water. The hydrofoil generates lift as the board moves forward, allowing the rider to rise above the surface of the water and glide through the air - just like FLYING! This technology is based on the principles of aerodynamics and hydrodynamics, and requires a combination of skill, balance, and speed to master.

01 The Board

We offer two different sizes of boards to accommodate both new and experienced users. Our larger board is designed for ease of use and learning, while our sport board is perfect for those looking for a more experience. Both boards feature a comfortable mat for standing and laying down, as well as handles for added stability.

02 The Wing

Hydrofoil fins, also known as wings, are designed to generate lift as they move through the water. The faster the speed, the greater the lift. On our E-foils, the propellor creates the speed. In the water the back smaller wing is sufficient to provide the necessary lift. Once the hydrofoil is in motion, the ride is incredibly smooth, frictionless, and almost silent.

03 The Mast

The mast serves as a crucial component that connects the board to the wing and propeller. During the ride, the wing and propeller remain submerged underwater, while the board stays flying above water. As such, the mast is the sole element of the setup that moves through the water, making it an essential part of the overall experience.

The Hand Controller plays a crucial role in powering the propeller of your board, making it an integral part of your ride. The trigger of the controller can be tailored to your riding style, enabling the board to move at your desired speed while you learn. Additionally, the controller's screen displays your current speed and elapsed ride distances, providing you with valuable information during your ride.
